Laminate Floor, and (oh boy) New Patio Door

Removal of the carpet in this home in preparation for new wood laminate flooring revealed a badly water damaged sub floor.

The damaged sub floor was cut out and replaced, and portions of the floor joists were either replaced or reinforced.

With the sub floor repaired, we could finally get that new door installed - brrrrrr...

Once the new door was installed, we got on with the original job - new laminate flooring. We installed a plastic vapor barrier to keep the new floor air and moisture tight.

Note: We are waiting on finished floor photo from homeowner.
